Sagan's "The Demon Haunted World: Science As A Candle In The Dark"

Sagan dissects pseudoscience from science, and fosters methods to teach readers to do the same when they encounter new ideas. He encourages approaching potential concepts for consideration with both critical and sceptical thinking in order to discern their validity, whether it concerns anything from witchcraft to magic; aliens to the moon landing.
“The Demon-Haunted World: Science As A Candle In The Dark” is aimed at the general public, who might not have any idea of the process of the scientific method. Sagan sets these principles out with clear analogies and examples to further the reader’s understanding.
